Ideas are exciting. Pitch decks are fun. But revenue is the oxygen that keeps a business alive long enough to matter.

Early on, founders fall in love with the vision and forget that without cash flowing in, the clock is always ticking. The first job of any new venture is to find someone willing to pay - that single signal validates more than any amount of theory.

Once you're breathing, you can think bigger. But never confuse the destination with the air you need to get there. Revenue first, then scale.
