Focus groups feel like research. People in a room, opinions captured, a tidy report at the end. For startups, they often produce confident, expensive nonsense.

What people say in a room and what they do with their wallet are two very different things. We'd rather run a small real-world test - a landing page, an ad, an MVP - and watch actual behaviour.

Behaviour beats opinion every time. That's the bias built into how we research and launch.
